Description
The Schioppettino Le Due Torri is a native red with an unmistakable character. Its tannins, fine and elegant, accompany an aromatic profile in which strong notes of black pepper stand out. Thanks to rotundone, the molecule responsible for this particular aroma, present in very high concentrations in this variety: Schioppettino is in fact the richest grape variety of this substance worldwide.

Characteristics of the wine
Its spicy nuances emerge strongly in cool and moderately rainy climates. The grapes, harvested exclusively by hand, are vinified to give life to a structured wine, harmonious and naturally suited for aging. The maceration is long, with manual foliations that enhance the aromatic extraction. Malolactic fermentation and ageing take place in lightly roasting oak barrels to preserve fineness and complexity.

Unique and enveloping bouquet, where the notes of black pepper are protagonists, accompanied by light fruity and balsamic nuances.

Food pairing
Perfect with white and red meats, it surprises in combination with oriental cuisine, where spices are protagonists. It also expresses itself well with smoked fish dishes, creating unusual and refined combinations.
